Hi. What’s your name?
My name is Joseph-Albert.

What do you do?
Hmm…what don’t I do? Well, I try to do everything. Right now, I do design. Mostly user interface and visual design. On the other side, I write a technology blog and sometimes take on personal research projects.

What do you for fun?
Depends. I like to go to the movies, play mini golf, and maybe read a good book. I also like to have deep conversations with people and to write when I’m inspired. Right now, finding fun stuff to do is hard but I’m always on the lookout.

So what do you write?
Sometimes poetry. Depending on the mood I’m in. I’m trying to put together a collection of short stories at the moment and I’m finishing up a TV script for a pilot episode.

What are your interests?
Umm…lots of things. I like music, science, art, video games, TV shows, movies, technology, gadgets….Anything that peaks my interests and stimulates my mind.

Are you dating or in a relationship right now?
Nope.

Have you ever been a relationship?
Yes.

Are you currently looking for someone right now?
Not really. I mean, if I find someone and we both vibe together, that would be cool.

Have you ever been in love?
No. I would like to know what that feels like one day. Maybe one day I can be emotionally free with someone. But I haven’t currently felt that yet.

When was the last time you went on a date or were with someone?
That’s a while back. I would say it’s been about 5 years now. Both single and celibate for 5 years. Use that information how you want…

What’s the ideal person you’re looking for?
I used to be picky but now I don’t really care. Right now, my ideal person is someone who is open-minded and has a good personality.

What is people’s first impression of you?
I’m quiet. Reserved. Cold. A weirdo. Someone that they can’t figure out. A bit mysterious. People think I’m mean because I always have a resting bitch face but when they talk to me, they realize that I’m not really mean.

Does that bother you?
Not anymore. You can’t do anything about what people think of you. But I think if you judge yourself by someone’s first impression, you’re being a bit shallow. Not everything is on the surface level.

What’s your worst fear?
I used to be afraid of death. But not anymore. I think I secretly look forward to it sometimes. Not trying to be morbid but that’s just how I feel.

Right now, I think I’m afraid of not experiencing as much of life as I can before my time runs out. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever experience a relationship where I fall in love and know what it’s like to have a kid.

What are somethings people don’t know or understand about you?
That I’m close to being a perfectionist. Unfortunately, I’m also clinically depressed and sometimes don’t want to be around people.

I also don’t like to share my thoughts or my emotions at certain moments. If you want to know me, you have to keep asking questions or get to a place where I’m comfortable to opening up to you.

I don’t like crowds of people. I don’t like being overstimulated.

Also, I have two tattoos and I plan on getting more.

What are you currently looking forward to at the moment?
Hmm…maybe getting back into the dating world? I don’t know really.

I am looking forward to the Marvel movies coming up. Also looking forward to maybe taking a vacation this year.

I have stuff in the works at the moment and I hope they come to fruition. But for now, I’m just trying to live life and be comfortable.

Anything else you would like to add? Can we look forward to more interviews and conversations?
Nothing much to add at the moment but you can look forward to more conversations. Just ask away. I’m pretty much an open book when people ask questions.

Cheers
