Poem: Waste My Time

If love is not meant for me
Then its onward like Prancer
In this race of life
Need that pole position like exotic dancers
They want to see the bag
before they show the love
Transactions draining my mental account
How much spent
I can’t tally the amount
She looks to the stars
Drowning her demons in a bottle
Living life in the fast lane at full throttle
She’s sick of men
But falls back into that toxic love
That back and forth of “I love you”
And “I don’t give a fuck”
Now she wants to waste my time
With feelings she never felt before
She hit rock bottom
Telling me all her flaws
Put her on a pedestal to reach for the sky
This is suicide love
But she’s not ready to die
